A Bold September
How the Yankees have fought hard to redeem themselves from woeful months past
After Labor Day, the Yankees have been surging. The Bronx Bombers have fought through some of the League’s best since then and now find themselves at 88-68, only 2 games behind the AL East leading Toronto Blue Jays. At 12-7 since then the Yanks beat up on the Houston Astros, the Blue Jays, the Red Sox, and the abysmal Orioles and Twins. With Luis Gil on the mound tonight the Yankees will do everything in their power to take this division. With a 3.33 ERA Gil has to take care of business on the mound to ensure a smooth transition to October.
